Last summer, I received an invitation to a casual dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Smith in Highlands, NC. Also joining for dinner were longtime friends Hector and Maryanne Villarroel. I was not expecting any other guests, especially a beautiful lady to whom I would eventually propose marriage.

Well, that is exactly what happened!

From the moment that I met Patty, there was no one else in the room. We spent the entire evening immersed in conversation, at the end of which, I asked her if she would like to have dinner with me in Atlanta the following Friday.

She accepted and the rest was history.

Things would have been different, if Clarke had told me he drove a Prius! I would have said to him, let me check my calendar, I will have to get back to you-lol.

From the time I was a little girl, I have had a love for cars. That evening Clarke told me he had a Maserati, well he did not need to say anymore...

I immediately set my ringtone on my phone for Clarke, as the sound of a Maserati and the rest was history.

Clarke is a very special kind of man, truly a rare find. He's handsome, honest, hardworking and a gentlemen. Basically, he's too good to be true. Now that I found him, I am never letting him go!
